LifeCentre is situated on Langworthy Road, in the heart of our community and is home to lots of LCC activities. Serving the community since 2000, LifeCentre's work has included lots of EDEN services for young people and we are really pleased that some of those young people now help run elements of our work.
LifeCentre is well known and respected in the community for working with young people and during 2010, a decade after the LifeCentre charity was set up, we developed a new vision to reach into our community.
We received grants to update our premises for the new vision to widen our services.
As ever Langworthy Community Church is committed to continue working with the young people of Seedley & Langworthy and we continue to offer practical help, fun and opportunities for self-development in the form of training, sports, arts, mentoring and small groups.
During the school holidays we annually hold Youth4Community a project facilitating a visiting youth group working with our Salford young people in delivering social action projects and sports activities.
LifeCentre also has a partnership with SCC to offer Christian counselling services for people aged 16+.
